Traineeship Business Administration in Local Government
Auburn Council offers 12-month Traineeships in Business Administration in Local Government to young people who have recently completed their HSC.
The traineeships are offered under the Federal Government Traineeship Program, and the trainee will be required to successfully complete a Certificate III in Business Administration with electives drawn from the Local Government Training Package.
As a trainee, you'll perform a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks as well as providing support to the many departments in Council. The duties vary from area to area but are intended to provide multi-skilling and training across all council activities and functions.
Advertising will begin in October 2009 for a January 2010 start.
